What is the Difference between Dry Needling and Acupuncture

Dry needling is a technique for muscle stimulation using a needle, with the goal of getting tense muscles released and more relaxed. We use dry needling alongside Chiropractic care and soft tissue therapy, as together, we believe this combined approach gets better results for you.

Acupuncture, on the other hand, is a Traditional Chinese Medicine modality and is  based on channel theory and using points to heal the body naturally. Specifically, acupuncture focuses on energy (Qi), and energy pathways, known as meridians, near the surface of the skin.

Both modalities may be used to address a range of musculoskeletal symptoms.
