Aurelie Gauthier
ChirSc. MChiro
Dr Aurelie was introduced to Chiropractic care when treatment was the only source of relief she gained for severe headaches arising from a neck injury as a child.
These headaches widely disrupted her life, preventing her from attending school at times and threatened her participation in soccer, at which she is particularly talented. Despite seeing numerous professionals, no-one could determine the exact cause of the problem or help to alleviate her pain. After a few Chiropractic treatments, the results were that her headaches were fully resolved and that an interest in learning more about this profession was kindled.
Aurelie started along this path while still at school, with a part time job as a Chiropractic assistant. This furthered her interest in learning how the musculoskeletal body can be impaired and what can be done to restore mobility and comfort.
She achieved her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Chiropractic at Macquarie University and after graduating worked at a busy clinic for several years. Her genuine passion for helping people led to her taking over Metro Chiropractic in 2016, the clinic with a difference. Her love for helping people and seeing results that Chiropractic can create for them leads to an exceptional experience with reassurance, education and results at the centre. With her professional and friendly demeanour combined with her wealth of knowledge and skills, you will feel empowered about your body and health.
Jennifer Fotheringham
BSc. MChiro
Dr Jennifer became interested in Chiropractic care after years of watching how individuals move. As a child, she enjoyed making structures with Meccano and realised that the same principles of movement applied whether it was a joint of two plastic parts on a model, or two bones within a human body. With the correct tension and power, a part should be able to move freely and comfortably.
Jennifer’s lifelong love is sport and her consequent interest in anatomy and biomechanics drew her to complete a Sport and Exercise Science degree. While playing sport for the university, various injuries featured in her life and in those of her friends. Fascinated by the journey of injury, rehab and recovery she decided to pursue a degree in Chiropractic at the University of South Wales. Initially working in the UK, she then achieved her dream of moving to Australia to enjoy the outdoor active lifestyle and met Aurelie at Metro Chiropractic Clinic.
With shared ideals to create a facility that prides itself on patient-centred care, Jennifer will go above and beyond to achieve your goals. Her goal, which is to treat the cause of the problem and prevent it from reoccurring follows her belief that everyone is entitled to the life they want to lead and her dedication to your health and body is second to none. She strongly believes in educating patients throughout their care to help them to achieve and maintain a healthy and mobile life.
Dr. Nick Guthrie
BSc. MChiro
Nicholas graduated from Macquarie University in 2010 with a Masters of Chiropractic. Having an interest in sports-medicine, Nicholas was attracted to the profession of Chiropractic due to the personal benefits he experienced as a patient.
Being an elite swimmer, Chiropractic made a major difference not only to his lower back, but to his whole body. This whole-body approach not only deals with the presenting injury but also its key dysfunction.
Nicholas has developed a special interest in the areas of acute and chronic pain management, sports injuries, soft tissue injuries and rehabilitation. He believes that everyone requires individualised treatment that focuses on treating the patient, rather than the condition.
“My aim is to empower individuals through education about their health while addressing lifestyle factors to ensure my patients are not just pain free, but in the best health achievable”.
His hunger to continue to expand his knowledge means he is on top of the latest scientific research and the most effective techniques in the management of the spine, sport, and work-related injuries:
Nicholas is a member of the following organisations:
- Chiropractic Australia
- Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia

Dr. Phi Pham
BSc. MChiro
Phi grew up with a strong background in athletics as a regular school representative in cross-country running, and also sports such as cricket. During high school, Phi was a yearly school representative in athletics such as relays and cross-country running and also played sports such as basketball, table tennis, soccer and oztag. Phi still currently plays oztag in a weekly zone competition and plays badminton each week for recreation along with a consistent gym routine of 5 days a week.
Despite all these sporting achievements, Phi was more known to be a bookworm and high academic achiever with his best subjects being PDHPE, Biology and Mathematics.
His combined passion between sporting, human biology and physical health led Phi towards the Bachelor and Master’s degree in Chiropractic at Macquarie University as chiropractic care offered hands-on, physical approaches to treatment while having medical foundations.
As a routine gym goer, Phi began to love chiropractic when he saw how much he could use the physical strength he gained at the gym and put it into his treatment approaches.
After meeting Aurelie at Metro Chiropractic Clinic, Phi found her treatment style to align with his own interests as more time was spent on the patient care rather than the quicker approach other clinics had been offering. Phi has a strong belief that chiropractic care needs to be holistic and incorporate all parts of the body and the patient’s lifestyle into treatment to achieve the best results for the patient.
With a strong background in exercise, Phi will not only strive to provide the best hands-on care within the treatment room but also give lifestyle and exercise advice tailored to your lifestyle to encourage an optimal way of life and prevent problems from arising, making your overall body and health his number one priority each time.
