Chiropractic Adjustments
Chiropractic adjustments are small, precise movements that are applied to a joint by a Chiropractor. The result of this is an increase in the movement available at a joint and a similar response in local tissues.
Soft Tissue
Soft tissue work involves massage, stretching and other techniques to reduce tissue tension. Benefits of soft tissue work can include a decrease in pain, stiffness and swelling, and an increase in tissue mobility and function.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a technique similar to acupuncture. Very fine sterile, single-use needles are placed into specific areas of tight muscle to reduce pain and myofascial tightness.
Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation exercises could be stretching, strengthening or mobility exercises individually prescribed to help stabilise and strengthen the body.
We use a variety of different chiropractic techniques: gonstead, diversified, activator and more. We also combine elements of massage therapy – find out about massage and chiropractic together. We also offer sports injury chiropractic care.
